Rajkot, Mar 11 (PTI) Over 120 manufacturers from various countries would take part in the 8th Annual Ceramic Materials, Machinery, Supplies & Technology Show to be held in Ahmedabad from March 19. The three-day show organised by Indian Ceramics would be held at Gujarat University Exhibition centre. Representatives of various countries like Italy, Spain China and from the Gulf countries would take part in the show, a release issued here by Indian Ceramics said. Saurashtra is the hub of around Rs 10,000 crore Ceramic Industry with 80 per cent of share and most of the units located in Morbi, Wankaner and Kutch region providing job to around one lakh people directly and indirectly, it said. According to the release, the Indian ceramic industry is growing at 15 per cent, while its export rate, too, is increasing at 10 per cent every year. China had reduced the subsidy on export of ceramic products from China, which resulted in further growth of export of Indian ceramic products, it said. PTI VJA NP
